A Clarington Car Crash has left a 38-year-old woman in critical but stable condition after her vehicle left the roadway and struck a hydro pole Monday morning.
Durham Regional Police responded to the single-vehicle collision on Energy Drive near Holt Road, southwest of Bowmanville, at approximately 7:25 a.m. on Aug. 17.
Police said the woman was driving a black 2025 Nissan Sentra westbound on Energy Drive, west of Holt Road, when the vehicle left the road and struck a hydro pole on the north side.
Emergency crews attended the scene and the driver was transported to a Toronto trauma hospital.
Driver’s Condition Updated to Critical but Stable
Police initially described the woman’s injuries as serious but non-life-threatening.
Her condition was later updated to critical but stable.
