The Township of Scugog is reminding residents that winter parking regulations on township roads take effect at 12:00 a.m. on November 1 and remain in place until 6:01 a.m. on April 15, according to a notice published by the municipality.
During that period, parking is not permitted on Township roads between 2:00 and 6:00 a.m. so Public Works crews can carry out winter operations and keep roads safe for winter travel. Vehicles parked on Township roads during those hours are subject to ticketing and may be towed, the notice says.
