YWCA Durham reports more than $42,000 raised at Starry Nights

by Milan in Community

YWCA Durham says its Starry Nights Gala raised more than $42,000 to support women and children who turn to Y’s WISH Shelter for safety and support.

In an October 7 thank-you message to supporters, the organization credited guests, sponsors, donors and volunteers with making the fundraiser a success. It said ticket purchases, donations and auction bids helped support its work with women and children experiencing violence.
