Oshawa school lacrosse players from Grades 6 to 8 took part in a co-ed Tournament of Champions on October 15, with St. Bridget Catholic School finishing first.

The Durham Catholic District School Board released the results on October 20. Its report identifies the venue as the Oshawa Civic and recognizes the teams’ effort, teamwork and sportsmanship.

St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic School earned second place, while St. John the Evangelist Catholic School placed third. The board congratulated all of the students who participated, as well as the three medal-winning teams.

The Oshawa school lacrosse results relate to the October 15 school tournament, not the separate college or international sixes competitions held in the city. The board’s notice does not provide match scores or individual player statistics.
